What happens with Type 2 Dibetes and Lyme Disease?

I have had Diabete for awhile, and now I have just been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and shingles. At first I thought I had a spider bite, but then I began to start seeing double. I'm now using a eyepatch to see straight. Now my ribs hurt and I can't move without being in horrible pain. How do I know if things are going to get worse?
