12 21 12..ring a bell?

So i watched this episode on t.v. talking about the "end" of the world on dec 21 2012 due to the universe lining up and the earth rotating so that the north and south pole will be equator and vise-versa...has anyone else heard about the whole mayan calender philosophy and if so...ARE YOU FREAKING OUT TOO????
