Cairns Sydney Melbourne Port Douglas!! so much what to do and where to go?

My husband and I will be having our ceremonial wedding in Cairns australia in October 2008 but there is SO much to see and do. What would be your top 5 can't miss in Cairns/Sydney area? How's the weather there at this time? We were def. planning on seeing the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, and the erfly Garden... what are the good beaches/ spas/ restuarants/islands...fairly priced. What about the surrounding areas Cairns like Port Douglas and I wont even start with trying to decide what to do in Sydney. Iam looking for beauty, serenity, and once-in-a-lifetime experience, romance (honeymoon), fun, a good tan, beautiful sunsets/nightskies- landscapes and scenery, I love taking photos. Mark is looking for fun, romance, adventure, and relaxation. What hotels offer honeymoon packages sweets? I can't find anything real good online sept...chocolates and wine on arrival...any suggestions?
