Ask him this "Do you really like me, please answer with pure honesty." if he says yes than he really does love you. I get nervous with my girlfriend as well and I also get nervous. He might not respond to your texts because he might be busy or he probably has his phone off. And if this his 1st time dating than it might be because he doesn't know what to do and hes just really nervous.
